Nafplio

Saturday 30th June 2015

After Athens, Delphi and Olympia, Nafplio was a brief break from visiting archaeological sites. Nafplio is a sea port town which was once under the control of the Venetians and their influence is visable in the architecture of the place everywhere you go. Being in this town felt like being a tourist on ‘holiday’ again.

We had three nights here. We spent our time eating, sleeping and relaxing before making a pit stop in Mycenea on the way to Athens airport. Our time here was pleasant, though the food was surprisingly disappointing.
